Natalie Stewardson


Natalie has over 18 years’ experience in Purchasing within the Interiors Sector. She joined Wallrite in 2000 as a trainee buyer in the Procurement Department. In 2004 she was promoted to Buyer and then in 2007 she was promoted to Senior Buyer.
Over her career Natalie has studied for both her MCIPS and Level 5 Diploma in Procurement.
Natalie’s role within the company is to schedule and procure all Materials, Plant and PPE items for all projects within the required budget. She is responsible for scheduling from drawings and specifications all materials that are required for site and ensuring that these are procured and delivered to site on time and to the required programme and key dates.
Natalie works closely alongside the Contracts and Project Managers to ensure that the materials for the projects are to the correct technical specification and requirements. She also works very closely with Main Contractors, Clients and Architects assisting with design issues and detail changes.
As Senior Buyer she is also responsible for ensuring that the companies Integrated Management System is implemented and that our Quality and Environmental responsibilities are met.
Natalie has developed close supplier relationships over the years and used her negotiation skills for establishing and maintaining best purchasing practices within a changing business environment.
Natalie was responsible for getting Wallrite registered and verified onto Constructionline Level 3 gold membership, which collects, assesses and monitors your standard company information. It is the largest pre-qualification database in the UK and the UK’s leading procurement and supply chain management service.
She also has 18 years experience with construction online document control systems such as Conject and Live link and 10 years’ experience in ONSCREEN estimating package.
Outside of work Natalie enjoys socializing but most of her time is spent with her family and spending time with her young daughter.
