Two of the Wallrite team, Nigel Wicks and Clint Boreham, are currently studying for their NEBOSH qualifications.
We are due to start work in August on a £500,000 new build project at 260 – 280 Green Park in Reading for Miller Construction. Miller Construction are building 2 new commercial office buildings for Prudential at the ever expanding Green Park development off Junction 11 on the M4. The project consists of approximately 7000 m2 of SAS system 130 600 x 600 module ceilings and plasterboard margins and the installation of various British Gypsum partitioning and wall lining system.
We are due to start work in August on a £1.5 million new build project at 2 Orchards in Bracknell for Millers Construction. Miller Construction are building 3 new commercial office buildings on the Western Road in Bracknell. The project consists of approximately 20,000 m2 of SAS system 130 600 x 600 module ceilings and plasterboard margins and the installation of various British Gypsum partitioning and wall lining systems.
Wallrite have begun work on a £1.4 million new build project on the Uxbridge Road for HBG London. HBG are constructing a new office building for Standard Life working in conjunction with Treherne Architects. The scope of works we have been appointed to undertake include SAS System 130 ceilings, dry lining, internal partitioning systems and glasroc column casings.
We have just secured a £1.4 million fit-out project of the new Audi showroom in Brentford with ISG. The new Audi £30 million showroom will be located over 7 floors and will have car showrooms which will be visible from the elevated section of the M4. The scope of works which we have been appointed to undertake include SAS Cool Ceil chilled ceiling system – SAS System 330 linear ceiling system – SAS system 330 Raking and Sloping trapezoidal ceiling system and also areas of Rockfon Pacific to the basement and back of house areas. We will also be constructing all fit-out partitioning systems and also all internal doors and specialist glazed partitions.
Wallrite is actively working towards the new ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accreditations with a completion date set for the 1st quarter of next year.
ISO 9001 has a set of eight core quality management principles, designed to act as a common foundation for all standards relating to quality management, namely:

The fourth and latest edition of the standard (ISO 9001:2008) was published on November 14th 2008.
ISO 14001 is in fact a series of international standards on environmental management. It provides a framework for the development of an environmental management system and the supporting audit programme. The standards designed to cover:
- environmental management systems
- environmental auditing
- environmental performance evaluation
- environmental labelling
- life-cycle assessment
- environmental aspects in product standards
The management team at Wallrite is delighted to announce that Nigel Wicks has gained accreditation in the Health and Saftey Standard NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health). The Certificate covers the legal requirements for health and safety in the UK, the identification and control of hazards in the working environment, and the practical on-the-job application of knowledge. Well done Nigel!
On Wednesday 4th March Wallrite was officially awarded ISO9001 Certification. Marie Kemp will be taking on the role of Quality Manager with Natalie Shaw taking on the role of Internal Quality Auditor.
Wallrite are currently working towards an Integrated Management System which will cover ISO 9001 (Quality) ISO 14001 (Environmental) and OHSAS 18001 ( Health and Safety) This is due to be completed for May 2010.
